BDMetrics Names AOL Executive Dan Fowler As Chief Revenue Officer
FBaltimore, MD – February 7, 2008—BDMetrics has named former AOL executive Dan Fowler as Chief Revenue Officer, it was announced today by Rick Geritz, President and CEO, BDMetrics, Inc.
Mr. Fowler will take over all revenue responsibility at BDMetrics, Inc. and will lead overall account management and sales growth for the company.
Dan brings to BDMetrics a proven track record of operational and sales leadership,” Geritz said. “With 26 years of sales and business development experience, Dan will accelerate our global sales efforts and assist us with a sales strategy that will lead us into the next phase of our corporate growth.”
Previously Mr. Fowler was Senior Vice President of Sales at AOL Media Networks where he developed a marketing strategy to allow AOL to effectively and quickly capture advertising market share outside of Fortune 500 companies. He was also responsible for increasing sales executive productivity, developing procedures and processes for operations, marketing, and pricing. Prior to his appointment as Senior Vice President, Mr. Fowler served in the capacity as Senior Vice President of Sales and Advertising Operations for AOL Local.
Prior to his tenure at AOL, Mr. Fowler served as Vice President of Interactive Channel Sales for Source Media, Inc. where he was responsible for defining the company’s new interactive television strategy and defining the new revenue models, value propositions, key messages and industry positioning. Other responsibilities included managing affiliate relations, business development, and consumer marketing. Mr. Fowler also served as General Manager for the Dallas, Texas-based company, IT Networks.
