Sales Director

Sales Director

We are looking for an enthusiastic, high energy sales director. This position gives you the ability to develop strategies to sell online media, one of the fastest growing markets in the US, to a broad range of corporate marketing and executive clients. You will be responsible for exceeding a Sales Quota based on specific accounts that you and your staff own and grow, generating new business in both existing and new communities. You will build a marketing plan and make sure that the marketing plan is acted upon by your team. You will run marketing events to build sales and lead activity such as Webinars, Seminars and calling campaigns. You will have the opportunity to meet with clients both by phone and in-person at events. Up to 25% travel is typical for this position. Media or Event sales experience preferred.

Candidates must have experience selling TV, Radio, Newspaper or on-line advertising. Must have strong in-person and phone selling skills – succinct, convincing, and confident style is a must.

Ability to overcome objections in a consultative way to keep prospects engaged.

Ability to persevere with “gatekeepers” of prospective customers to seek out and identify ultimate decision-maker within a company.

Strong communications skills required with internal staff. Proper and respectful communication and coordination with client services, development, and administrative staff is essential. Familiarity and experience with common customer relationship management systems is required.
